The lovely roses above were made via crochet, a technique that dates back at least four hundred years in Europe, depending on how you define crochet. The technology required is simply that of a crochet hook and yarn; however, the inspiration of applying these two items in increasingly complicated ways is what lead to crochet’s existence.
